chonkyABG mean?
People ask me this a lot.
Chonky is an endearing way to say “a little chubby,” and ABG stands for “Asian Baby Girl” — usually tied to an edgy and sleek aesthetic. Put together, chonkyABG is a little ironic: I don’t really fit that mold.
I like to joke that I’m a failed ABG — I’ve got the dyed hair, the lashes, the crass, and a love for boba, but the rest? Not so much. I’m more messy than polished, more blunt than curated, and honestly, I’m fashionably inept (I basically rotate between the same three outfits). The name is my way of leaning into that contrast — playful, imperfect, and unapologetically me.
